The Rival Crock Pot is very easy to use and easy to clean. Unplug the unit after use and let it cool. Remove the ceramic container and scrap away excess food. Put in a few drops of soap and warm water and let it soak for a few minutes. Clean with a soft cloth and rinse. The electric unit must never be submerged in water. Clean inside the unit with a dry cloth. The outside of the unit can be cleaned with a moist cloth.
